Asahi Sushi - Houston

The restaurant isn’t very large, but you won’t have to wait long for a seat. It gets incredibly crowded during lunch, so I recommend visiting quickly. I’m usually not a fan of sushi, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was here! I started with the Shumai as an appetizer, which is a delightful dumpling filled with shrimp. It was truly delicious. For my sushi, I ordered The Bomb and The Spider Dragon, and both were amazing! I can't tell you exactly what was in them, but they were incredibly tasty and I loved that they were fried. Overall, a fantastic experience!

I had a fantastic sushi experience! During my first visit, the service was incredibly fast, and I enjoyed watching the sushi being prepared right in front of me while I sat at the bar. It was a wonderful experience that truly captured the essence of authentic Japanese sushi. I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of the food, the service, and the price.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's a cozy spot located near the NRG Arena. The menu offers a great selection. I sampled their traditional rolls and absolutely loved them. The service is also quite good. I highly recommend checking it out!

Excellent sushi spot. If you're ever past the area for lunch, they have one of the best lunches I've ever tasted. It is not crazy expensive, it is a convenient place to relax and eat. I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to eating different types of food, so I asked some questions about how to eat certain things, but the server was extremely patient and helpful. He told me what I had ordered and the recommended way to enjoy the food. All in all great lunch, excellent date night stop, one must try when you are in the area.

Absolutely incredible! Small place BOLD delicious food. Husband and I stopped in for lunch and so glad we did. We sat at the bar and were able to watch our sushi being made which made the experience even better. Already excited to go back and Try other menu items.
