Gourmet House East Houma

The food here is incredible, and the staff is fantastic. This is definitely one of those hidden gems that you'll quickly grow fond of. Just a heads-up: this is not your typical Chinese buffet. You order what you want, and they give you generous portions. Don't forget to tell Jimmy to thank his mom—she's an exceptional cook!

It's almost always about the rice and I find their fried rice is very fresh and always good.<br/ Their dining area is small but very comfortable and clean; the service is also pleasant.<br/ <br/ Small note: I would definitely choose here over New China.  The atmosphere and food are much better.

Excellent. Fresh, Delicious, the staff is friendly, the price is reasonable, and the best part, you don't have to drive into town!
