Snead's 1912 Steak - Hot Springs

A few friends and I recently dined at The Homestead, but unfortunately, we were not all impressed with our meals, which left us feeling disappointed. However, our experience took a turn for the better when we went to Snead's 1912—WOW! The atmosphere, food, and service were all outstanding! Most of our group ordered the special peach chicken, which was delicious (and don't get me started on the biscuit!). But I still can’t stop thinking about the brussel sprouts—AMAZING!!! A big shout-out to Jessica, our wonderful waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. I will definitely recommend Snead's 1912 to friends visiting Hot Springs. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Snead's 1912 Steakhouse and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We live in Washington, DC, and I believe Snead's could easily hold its own against other upscale restaurants in the city. The dinner atmosphere was relaxed and the food was absolutely worth the three-hour drive to Hot Springs. Chef Mattie truly knows how to prepare a steak with the love and care it deserves! You'll also want to try one of the sauces that accompany the steak; you can't go wrong with any of them. Make sure you don't leave without ordering the crispy Brussels sprouts—they're a must-have with every entrée! We also sampled the fried chicken, and it was incredible. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. Be sure to add Snead's to your list of must-try restaurants!

Absolutely fantastic! The filet was the best I've ever tasted. Our server, Oscar, was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. They even surprised me with a birthday card for Thanksgiving, which was a lovely gesture. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in this beautiful area again.

What a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday. My two daughters treated me for dinner and it was great. The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the whole evening in your restaurant was a great experience. Thank you for a great evening and I highly recommend your restaurant.

The food was great and the service was top notch. Holly makes amazing drinks!! I had the prime rib and I would put it at number two on my list of best prime rib ever. Banana foster is my absolute favorite dessert and I would have to say that it was as good as my husband makes (that doesn't happen often! . David had the ribeye and said it was cooked to perfection. We will definitely go back again, looking forward to trying the trout on the menu and the rib special.
