Sam Sneadaeo»s Tavern - Hot Springs

This was our first time in Hot Springs, VA. We enjoyed the restaurant, service and food.

Awesome food and service. The decor was an honor to Sam Snead.

The food at this restaurant was amazing! We ordered shrimp and grits, pork chop with bacon spinach, garlic bread, and crème brûlée. We dined there on Valentine's Day and enjoyed live music, although it was quite loud. Despite the slow service, the food was well worth the wait. So, take your time and enjoy the experience.

Sat for 20 minutes and were never acknowledged, so we left. We’ve been coming here for years, both when the Homestead owned it, and since it’s been privately owned. Such a shame. We told the young man at the host stand on our way out that we were giving up waiting, and he didn’t even look up from his phone. Worth noting that the place had only a hand full of tables at the time. This probably should have been a sign.

Very nice experience. Good food and service and a cool vibe inside.
