Bleu Monkey Grill - Hot Springs

Service was WAY TOO SLOW. I was there on the patio for over an hour waiting for my server to take my order, bring food, bring the check, etc. She seemed much more focused on other people on the patio. Didn’t apologize for the insanely slow service. Just awful awful service. She should find a job better suited for her.

We were forgotten about on the patio multiple times, and the Bacon on the Avacado sandwich was basically raw.

My friends and I were up in Hot Springs for the Arkansas State USBC Women's Tournament. After bowling we agreed to go to the Bleu Monkey after reading the positive reviews on google. At first, it looked like a nice establishment. We were seated quickly and asked for out drinks. The server was not too friendly, until he started chatting about bowling. It took a long time for our order to taken since our server was no where to be found most of the time. We figured something was wolrongnwhen people who came in after us were getting their food. When we did get our food, it was cold. I ordered a burger and the bun was soggy and the inside was cold. We were disappointed we did recieve the same service as the reviews. They charged us for a large group gratuity for a group of 6. I thought 8 was the minimum. Proceed with caution.

Food was just OK, and service was slow. But what really aggravated me is they tried to charge us 26.8% TAX!!!! So, check your bill! Sales tax at a restaurant in Hot Springs should be 12.5% which is ridiculous enough .The waitress had the manager fix the bill, but it still wasn't right. $1 more in tax than it should have been. But at that point, we just wanted to get out of there and won't ever be back.
