Papa Poblanos Mexican Cafe

I took my mother and daughter to this restaurant for the first time on Monday night, 10-10-16. It is now my favorite Mexican restaurant! They have an amazing variety of dishes that taste delicious. The salsa is the best I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the service is fast. The restaurant has plenty of room, a great atmosphere, a bar, big flat screen TVs, and a private party area. It is very clean and smells delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We all had to take home containers because the portions were so generous. For three people, including drinks, our total was only $34 and some change. We left our great waitress an additional $10 tip. The 99 cent Margarita with my meal was the perfect touch. We will definitely be back and will bring even more people with us next time!

Trejos on the Lake recently opened just three weeks ago and I absolutely loved it. The Thursday night Mariachis were fantastic. The bacon-wrapped shrimp stuffed jalapeños were delicious and definitely worth trying. Don't forget to order a Margarona - you won't regret it. The manager, Hugo, was extremely friendly and even took us to see the beautiful patio overlooking the water, similar to the view at Bubbas. I can't wait to go back next Thursday!

I visited the new restaurant by the lake. I opted to sit outside and the ambiance was fantastic! The service and food were excellent. I enjoyed a lovely view of the lake without having to pay a hefty price. I will definitely return!

I visit Hot Springs every once in awhile. Yet Senor Trejo and his staff always remember me and treat me like family even if I haven’t seen the for umpteen months, which was the case yesterday.

This place was absolutely amazing! They had great food, and service. The waitress was so nice and made sure we were complete satisfied. Will come back again.
