Pub set in rural village of Partridge Green offering Dark Star beer brewed locally in the village. Hop head beer went down well. Pub been going since 1742 run by Whitbreads. Popular with locals. So rural that plenty of deer herds roaming nearby.

Great pub steeped in history as far back as the 17 th century. Warm welcome and great ale

Depends what you are looking for. We needed food and to watch football. What we got was great food and a choice of football games. Staff were brilliant. Nothing fancy but well worth a visit.

Very tasty and generous Haddock and Chips washed down with a lovely pint of Hophead from the local brewery.
