The George Of Stamford

Another excellent 3 night stay at my favourite hotel in the UK!! Received an upgrade which was an expected bonus and the breakfasts and dinners in the Garden Room were up at the usual high standard if quality, speed of service and attentive friendly staff. Attentive friendly staff us the key USP of the George from the welcoming doorman, reception staff, bar and restaurant staff and not forgetting the housekeeping staff!! I will be back soon

Attended for Afternoon Tea, courtesy of my sister-in-law, with my wife. Good parking (Blue Badge Scheme) and efficient waiting staff. Tea was delicious and so generous that a few cakes were boxed up and taken home. Seated indoors which was comfortable, although the table could have been a tad larger!
