Peking Garden - Hornchurch

This restaurant is fantastic, with consistently great service. I often order takeout and the food still tastes delicious.

The restaurant experience was very disappointing. The food was okay but slightly cold, and it took 2 hours for the main course to be served. The service was not great, with staff barging past us to get to tables and leaving us without drinks. One main meal was missing initially, but it was rectified and given to us for free. However, these issues added to the overall disappointment of the evening. Some staff had their masks hanging around their chins, which was concerning for safety. Additionally, handling glasses by the tops and putting them on the table was not ideal given the current circumstances.

My partner and I traveled from Suffolk to celebrate our birthdays and booked a hotel for the night. We decided to have dinner at Peking Garden, a place we have visited many times before, and once again, we were thrilled with our choice. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the restaurant had a great ambiance, and all the other diners appeared to be enjoying themselves as much as we were. We were so impressed that we have already booked to return for the Chinese New Year in January. We can't wait!

Last time I was here I wrote This will have been my second visit because my grandson likes some of their dishes and they cater to his specific eating requirements well sadly since that visit they have either changed the chef or he was having a bad night. Whatever as far as the food goes you wouldn 't think that it was the same restaurant

We booked a Thursday evening at 7pm. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We was surprised how busy it got for a Thursday evening. We all picked set menu B £20.65 a head, we picked the White House wine £17 which was very good. Food came up piping hot and was what we expected for a Chinese meal. While a Chinese is not cheap, compared with other restaurants, this place was very nice and we would go back in the future.
