Ruby Tuesdays - Hopewell

We would have skipped this place. The interior is dirty everywhere so you wonder how bad the kitchen is. The employees who store the salad bar did not wear gloves and directed foods that were not handled. The same employee was seen several times to run the restaurant, with its brightly colored underwear hanging at the top of its low hanging pants. Eating was okay, waitress was friendly, but none of these things can be hard.

Worst Ruby Tuesday I've been there before. I traveled for work and I was disgusted by this special place. It was absolutely pitiful. I just walked out. Very sad to see a good restaurant so bad. I could go on and on all that was wrong with the place, but I don't want to write a novel. Very disappointing as I was excited to eat there. I was in Norfolk recently regular and ate there every day.

This place was wonderful. Our waitress was sweet and on her game. I ordered the salmon and they cook it perfectly. I sat there and ate and danced. Loved the atmosphere, had great music and only a great experience. After the certificate I had in a previous restaurant, this was a wonderful change.

The Hopewell location is getting worse and worse. This used to be my favorite RT in the area and I would order takeout at least 3 or 4 times/month. I 've been underwhelmed the past few visits. Either the food was subpar and/or the service was lousy. It 's turning into the Colonial Heights location, which eventually closed its doors. Additionally this the only establishment, of any kind, which the to go parking is a joke (and that 's even including the 20% tip I paid). The good news: I 'll save money bc I won 't be going back anytime soon.

The rib eye steak and salad was good. The broccoli tastes like a metal pan. The baked potato was barely warm wouldn't even melt butter. The restaurant looks smells and feels old. And the air conditioner doesn't work very well at all
