Boarding House Tea Room - Hope Mills

This restaurant offers lunch and dinner, as well as High Tea on Sundays, provided there are enough reservations. Guests can discover a variety of antique treasures, ranging from an Andy Griffin piece to vintage bowls. The venue also hosts events, but they need to be booked in advance. It is managed by a delightful retired couple, Mr. Mason and Mrs. Carla. This establishment is a cornerstone of the historic Hope Mills neighborhood. Customers are kindly requested to use the side entrance. Mrs. Carla prepares pastries inspired by flavors from around the globe.

It's not a mom-and-pop restaurant, but the food is exceptional—well-prepared and very healthy. I visit every two weeks because they frequently update the menu.
