Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I were visiting Birmingham for our anniversary and we were looking for a place to have dinner to celebrate. We came across Tre Luna on Google, and decided to try it out; we are SO glad we did! From the welcoming atmosphere the host and manager created when we walked in, to the time we left, we had an amazing experience. Our waiter, Patton, had wonderful suggestions, was attentive, and set the perfect pace for our dinner. Our food came out quickly, but we were never rushed. The booth side of the table was cozy and comfortable. Everything we had tasted amazing. The brussel sprouts were crispy, the wood-fired pizza was fabulous (GREAT crust), the filet was one of the best we?ve ever had (we ordered it with the chimichurri instead of the glaze and the roasted potatoes as well) and was perfectly cooked medium. It was so tender! The creme brûlée was a great way to end the meal as well. We each ordered a drink from the outdoor walk up bar as we waited for our table, and both of the drinks were wonderful as well. The atmosphere, food, and service were all impeccable, and we will definitely be back when we are back in town. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The food was hands down the best with great portions of food! Happy hour was 4-6 and the cocktails were great! I can?t wait to return for more ! Great for date night and hanging out with friends!
Hands down the best eggplant parmigiana I have ever had! The forest mushroom pizza was also very good and cooked in a wood fired oven so it had that good crust.
We were in Hoover for a soccer tournament and were looking for a fun place to eat dinner. Tre Luna was a great choice. Everyone in our family of four enjoyed their meal. The bread was amazing and our waitress Kelsea was amazing. She was the most professional and kind waitress we have had in quite awhile. We will be back next time we are in Hoover!
Six of us went to Tre Luna early on Saturday, Aug. 27 to celebrate my son-in-law's birthday. Both he and his daughter ordered the salmon pizza. They had ordered this on two occasions and loved it. When our food arrived, they noticed both pizzas had plenty of salmon but no cheese. As I said they had it before when there was cheese. When we told our waiter, he went to tell his manager. He came back to our table telling us there was cheese on the pizzas. He said this without he or his manager even bothering to look at the pizzas. Not wanting to create a fuss, my son-in-law and his daughter just let it go and did not finish the pizzas. In fact they had maybe one slice each. Later that night they both had bad stomach issues undoubtably from bad salmon. It couldn't have been bad cheese because there was none on the pizzas. Needless to say we expected more from our wine and meals costing over $300! We had always enjoyed our meals at Tre Luna but we were very disappointed that we did not get an apology or any attempt to make things right. They just tried to spin it. We probably won't be back. Follow-up: As requested by the Tre Luna owners I spoke to Erin on Tuesday 9/6. Our conversation went very well. She apologized profusely and offered to comp the whole $300 meal but I wouldn't let her do that. Four of our six meals had been very good. Our complaint was with the two salmon pizzas. Erin insisted on sending me a $100 gift card. I appreciate Erin's apology and the gift card but the apology is really all we ever wanted. I appreciate Erin's follow-up to my review and taking the time to talk to me about our unfortunate experience at her restaurant where meals are usually very good. The owners are obviously trying hard to do things right. Most of the time they and their staff succeed.
