The same manager that was rude when taking my order because they didn’t have the patience for a new customer asking one basic question is the same manager that I watched wear the same pair of gloves to take my order, play on their phone, help in the kitchen, and drink from an open plastic cup. The germs are EVERYWHERE ?The fried rice and noodles were both barely undercooked enough that they still had that light rubbery texture, the teriyaki chicken didn’t have any love in it, tasted bland with a hint of brunt grill. I also bought three yum yum sauces for $1.64 (cash, also taken with the same gloves by this manager) that all came out half full inside 1oz ramekins. Is this proper portioning? Because I feel robbed, yum yum MAKES the bowl.Everything about this experience was frustrating none the less. This location definitely won’t be anywhere near the top of my returns list. $38 for two regular bowls, with fried rice noodles, 1 drink, 3 yum yum, and poor service. Beautiful
I asked for something spicier than mad spicy and I'm currently sitting in the restaurant on the brink of death.They added a few drops of Doomed by Hellfire Hot Sauce (2.79 million scoville heat units) and I think I may have eaten the spiciest thing I've ever had in my life.Service is excellent, food is great. Will be testing Hoover, AL ambulance service in a few moments.10/10 will haunt in the afterlife for good food.
I took my family to 4741 Chace Circle in Hoover, Alabama. I had bragged about how good the food was prior to us going. Big mistake. First off, it is approx. 3pm. I order a steak terriyaki bowl. The first thing said, I don 't know if we have enough steak . Mind you there are four of us. So the other three had to choose another protein. They chose salmon and chicken. My husband 's rice and vegetables were cold. My daughter 's cabbage was raw,hard, essentially under cooked. I went to the counter to ask they be warmed, and was met with resistance. Then my two children, ages 21 and 15 who ordered the salmon, both complained of the taste, texture and smell of the salmon. So I take the salmon back to the counter and ask to speak with the manager and explain that the salmon had a funny taste, smell and texture and he looks at me and says You don 't have to eat it, but I am not replacing it with another protein, I been selling it all day as if to say get over it and deal with it. The service was terrible from the beginning to the end. The manager had no apology, no nothing to indicate he was sorry for the bad experience. But he did say we could Buy another protein in place of the salmon. Keep in mind I had already spent $100. As we are leaving the restaurant, the manager, along with the other two staff members are staring at my family and I as though we did something wrong. It was very uncomfortable and very unprofessional and very awkward. I should have gone with my first thought, which was to leave when we got there because clearly we were made to feel like more of a hindrance than welcomed customers! I would not recommend this place to anyone! The service was absolutely terrible and unforgettable. It was the type of service from a nightmare that no one should have to endure! I would give .25% of a single star, but that is not a choice.
What can I say? I was 100% blown away with how well they handled their professionalism as well as getting the food out to me in a timely manner thank you thank you the food was amazing I had salmon teriyaki and it completely hit the spot thank you so much for serving me as well as the entire Hoover community
Wow what can I say I came in just very simple lunch visit and was BLOWN away by how great my teriyaki salmon was. You have to come get this to try literally amazing thank you guys for taking care of myself as well as the city of Hoover as a whole !
