J&c Seafood - Hoover

Not sure how this place has such good reviews unless we just went on a bad night. Our waiter was AWESOME, he had such great energy. The fried okra was good. But the crab claws.. they were dried out and half the meat was missing. The scallops were rubbery like they had been sitting under a light all night. I payed $18 for that. My son’s lobster was pretty sad too. Try somewhere else if you want what you pay for.

Food came out fresh hot and quick. The portions are large and the prices are standard. Good family atmosphere! I’m excited to go back on a Wednesday for half price cocktails

First time eating here, food tasted fresh and very flavorful, the sauce was sweet which I loved. A little on the expensive side but it was worth it.

The food was so so good. It was our first time here. But won’t be our last ,, we will definitely be back soon

So good. I've tried other seafood boils in the area but always come back to this spot. There's no competition. The service is great and the food is even better!
