Culver's - Hoover

They have a varied and unique menu for a fast food restaurant. I have enjoyed everything that I tried. I also love that you can substitute broccoli for french fries that way I don't feel so guilty when I get their wonderful custard for dessert.

I brought my older children and my grandchildren. There were 9 of us and a to go order. Let me start with the service. The person that took our orders was not familiar with the menu, so asking questions about the different sandwiches was notsuccessful. She seemed very put out with questions and frustrated that we had such a large order. Slamming the cups for ourdrinks down on the counter. The food came out fairly quickly. However, we got our mushroom Swiss burgers and neither hadanything on it except meat and cheese. So we went back in and the person that fixed seemed confused and then gave us twocontainers with mushroom gravy. The food menu seemed to confuse the people working there. Its like they didn?t know that therewas supposed to be mushroom gravy on a mushroom Swiss burger. After we ate we went back for dessert and a to go food. The togo order was a pot roast sandwich and it was terrible. No sauce just dry. But I didn?t realize it until we got home. I wouldhope that there was more to that. After $135 I was really disappointed. It was like no one really knew what to do. From takingour orders, to preparing the food or how to prepare it?.how to be about customer service. No smiling at all. It was very niceinside and clean and we sat outside. That part was great. But until you get that other under control people won?t come back.People will come once because it?s new but our first impression was not so good. We won?t be a repeat customer and when peopleask me what I thought I will tell them.

Culver's is honestly one of the best places for fast food and this location does a great job. There's something for everybody, burgers, chicken, fish, even things like pork loin and pot roast sandwiches. Lots of different sides and flavors of frozencustard. Staff here is always friendly and curbside pickup is pretty quick. Glad to have this second addition to the B'ham area.

They are open and have their act together. The drive through process is top notch. My pup loves to get her pup cup when we visit. I like the chicken tenders and Cole slaw. Still great!

Store was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. Their menu board was busy and all over the place, seems like more of a corporate issue. It could definitely be simplified and streamlined. Food was good and the ice cream portions are huge.
