The Elvetham - Hook

The ambiente was good, but the food was not fresh. bark meat tasted. potatoes were boiled too dry.

Location was very beautiful but the dining was not freshly made.

Terrible service, staff undertrained. Even got a phone call from reception, whilst sat at the table, to say don’t bother coming in we’ve over booked!

The place seemed more a conference centre than a hotel, stacks of chairs seemed to be in every room. The actually place was beautiful, just needs to be on the right hands to bring the per potential out. Food was super great portions and super taste. The staff needed a lot more guidance, so it was ok for our meal, if you want to impress then not the right place to go until they sort out all the team.

The food was massively overpriced for the small portions served. There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant, which made the experience even more disappointing.
