Otto Cake - Honolulu

I drove from the west to Otto Cake just to enjoy their cheesecake. That’s how amazing it is!

This charming little specialty shop in Kaimuki is a delightful find. The staff is friendly, but keep in mind that there's no seating available and they only accept cash. We sampled a variety of treats, and my favorite was definitely the lemon blueberry cheesecake. We also tried the brownie, butterscotch cheesecake, chocolate haupia, and macadamia nut cheesecake. If you're a cheesecake lover, this is the perfect spot for you!

I also love the warm, inviting atmosphere at Otto Cake. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the charming decor adds to the overall experience. Whether you're stopping by for a quick treat or taking your time to savor your cheesecake with a cup of coffee, it's always a pleasure. As a regular, I appreciate the variety of flavors available. Whether you prefer a classic New York-style cheesecake or something more unique like the Lilikoi Cheesecake, there’s a flavor for everyone. Overall, I can't recommend Otto Cake enough, especially for their incredible cheesecake. My experiences there have always been exceptional, and the quality of the desserts remains unmatched. Best cheesecake on the planet, period. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The ingredients are all premium, hence the amazing flavor, texture and richness. It's a take-out store, very small, not really a place for a group of people to eat cheesecake. Go in there, buy your cheesecakes, go home and indulge in your own little slice of heaven.

She also recommended the matcha, lilikoi, and butterscotch cheesecakes. Plenty of parking options around coin metered street parking or there's a few parking lots nearby.
