Magokoro - Honolulu

I visited for an early sushi dinner, and the atmosphere was quite calm. The sashimi was pretty much what I expected for the price. I appreciated that each piece was generous in size, which was great since I was quite hungry. However, it was a bit challenging to handle the larger pieces while trying to keep the rice and fish intact.

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious! The sashimi and the rainbow roll were exceptional, and for those who preferred non-sushi dishes, the beef stew was fantastic. The Spargel Speck appetizer was outstanding. I would definitely return!

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It offers a unique twist on the typical sushi experience. It's genuinely authentic and absolutely wonderful!

Large sushi and aromas with very reasonable prices. Service was quick and friendly and extremely helpful with one of the culinary needs of my party. You are BYOB, so you need to plan or swing next door in the ABC Store. The sushi rolls were fresh and well made with great flavors and they had plenty of choice to please most lovers of sushi.

Superb food and service! I thought I was in Japan when I was seated. I went to the restaurant 3 times within my 1 week stay. One of the dishes that really had the WOW factor was actually the fried udon! It looked rather bland, in fact pale, when it was served not appealing at all. But wait till you actually shovel it into your mouth! It is unexpectedly flavourful! It is a special kind of flavourful I could hardly tell what exactly was the taste so I kept shovelling it down my stomach, trying to decipher what exactly was the ingredient that gave that magical taste, and before I knew it, the whole plate was gone. Fabulous!
