Bidrage med feedbackMy partner and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was the worst experience. We booked our stay with a third party. At check in they told us we were upgraded to a partial ocean view which sounds great but they placed us in a room next to the entrance to the pool. The constant music blasting and foot traffic kept us from sleeping. We asked if we could change rooms because of the noise after the first night and was denied stating that we were lucky to be upgraded. On the last night there was a huge commotion with security being called at 2am. At check out we made all our concerns known and the receptionist was sympathetic and told us that our stay would not be charged. We came back to ask as we didn’t receive the refund and was told only the resort fee would be waived and to tell us to contact the third party site we booked from to get the refund knowing that they would deny the request when the third party called. Good location, nicely renovated lobby and decently renovated rooms but would not recommend based on my experience.
I want to share that the customer service here was amazing. We were there in mid August for two nights as they had a great package deal for the Swell Pool Party on Saturdays. The gym is top notch and you can see over the famous aquarium by the restaurants downstairs. What ultimately brought down a great weekend was when an unfortunate incident occurred and a woman fell through the pool deck where we were enjoying the live DJ and infinity pool. She was right behind us and the floorboard gave way underneath her with emergency responders eventually able to transport her to her medical attention. The pool opened up shortly after and it just didn’t feel right being there after she fell through the floor. We chose the location for the pool package and only got to spend about an hour and a half there. They gave us a resort credit to compensate but honestly we’ll always remember this unfortunate experience. Again, great staff but how the incident was handled, I’m not sure there was a lot that could have made us come back. Also, the bidet in the bathroom didn’t work because it was missing parts which isn’t a big deal, but would think it’s a maintenance check list item.
Beautiful hotel located at the quieter end of Waikiki. Staff were phenomenal, all so lovely. My room was so spacious and clean, with great provisions (water, coffee, tea, TV). I most loved the on site and nearby restaurants, cafes and bars, availability of beach OR pool towels (they allow you to take beach towels off site), and there was a good array of foods/cuisines within arms reach. Food/Drink on site, especially cocktails, were slightly pricey, but this is to be expected in Waikiki. They also have a tour desk and hire car desk which made organising my time extremely easy. Wish I did not have to leave!Rooms: Huge bed, balcony with chairs and a great view, laptop friendly safe, ironing board, kettle, coffee machine, free bottled drinking water and mini fridge, hair dryer, TV with loads of channels, free local calls.Nearby activities: Short walk to Diamond Head, or the main strip of Waikiki, as well as lots of convenience stores, the beach and bars all close by.Food drinks: Superb Japanese restaurant, as well as a great Tequila bar with tacos and happy hour! The pool bar has some great options, and huge serving sizes. Live music at the pool bar each night was also really enjoyable.
Upon arrival, with my four adult children, their spouses and my 14 grand children, checking into several rooms, a valet named Alva insulted my son for walking to the bellhop quarter and grabbing a luggage cart. In fact, he took it out of his hands turn his back on him and walked away! How would that make you feel after spending several thousand dollars at check-in? Keep you posted.9/6/231) for the nearly $20,000 that it’s costing for me to have my family here with me. This has been the worst hotel experience in a long time!2) the service hasn’t got better it’s got worse!3) and just now security came to our room to check and see if we were smoking! They said they smelled cigarette smoke, and had to search our room! And they did search it and found nothing because my mother, my wife, or I do not smoke!Worst experience for this kind of money we’ve ever had !
This hotel is directly across the street from the beach. It's in a great location and in walking distance to everything. The hotel as a whole is clean and welcoming. Housekeeping comes every other day. The pool and hot tub are refreshing, but come early for a chair by the pool because they fill quickly. Lastly, there is a fee if you need a microwave.
