Aloha Tortilla Factory Cafe - Honolulu

It can be difficult to find delicious tacos in Hawaii, especially vegan ones. As a Texan, I often crave Mexican food, and this restaurant near the Aloha Tower offers a great selection of vegan options. I always order the 5 vegan tacos with vegan chorizo and cheese, and usually share them with my boyfriend unless I'm really hungry. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Overall, it's a great spot for tasty and affordable vegan tacos.

This food truck serves Mexican cuisine, but they offer delicious vegan options as well. I have always had a great experience with the food here. The staff is very friendly and it feels like a family-run business.

Aloha Tortilla Factory and Cafe is a small hut located on the Hawaii Pacific University campus. They offer a clearly labeled vegan/vegetarian menu and are very accommodating. I tried the Burrito with vegan cheese, vegan chorizo, chips and guac on the side, and a smoothie. The presentation and taste were excellent, though it doesn't quite compare to Gordos. The service was cool and friendly, though a bit slow as it seemed to be a small crew. The price was reasonable for the quality. I would consider going back and would recommend it for a good 4/5 rating. However, Gordos is still the best Mexican vegan food on the island. More menu items would make it perfect. Parking is available at Aloha Tower.

Got a burrito and 3 tacos. Everything was bland. Potatoes, mushrooms, beans…nothing was seasoned. Salsa tasted store bought and diluted. Tortillas seemed to have come out of a packet as well and not freshly made or anything. Chips and guacamole was the only thing okay.

The vegan chorizo and horchata are calling me back to Aloha Tortilla Factory pretty soon. Maybe manana!!? Updated from previous review on 2021-10-29
