Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is sure to impress with its delicious flavors. Although it can be pricey (as is typical in Hong Kong), everything I've tried here has been consistently good! I particularly enjoy the Daydreamer cupcake, but there are other vegan options available as well. The vegan tarts are also worth trying, with standout choices like the rich and decadent blackout chocolate tart, the Mont Blanc chestnut cream tart, and the creamy and not-too-tangy crack and Shine lemon tart. I also sampled the vegan Mille Feuilles, which were tasty but could have been a bit flakier - perhaps not the best choice for vegan eaters. For the ultimate vegan millefeuille experience, I recommend checking out Bien Caramélisé. This particular venue in Hong Kong offers seating, unlike some of the other locations which only offer takeout options. The sofa seats may not always be the most comfortable for dining, and I found the service to be lacking during my last visit. (Reviewed on 2022 02 01)
Have some vegan cupcakes to choose from, both texture and taste of cupcakes were good, especially Oopsie Daisy, I like the passion fruit paste a little sour that was a perfect match with the cake. In the Apple Crumble there was a filling of apple pulp, it was surprisingly not too sweet. The texture of the cupcakes was soft, but not sticky. I also ordered a Christmas-Vegan afternoon tea set on another day with a friend. We were happy with the food, but the meal was limited to 90 minutes, we couldn't finish all at the end. There are few places in the café and we sat in the sofa. The table between us is not suitable for food.
They have a variety of vegan cupcakes and other sweet treats to choose from. While the cupcakes are on the smaller side, they are incredibly sweet, so sharing one with a friend might be a good idea. Pair your treat with a cup of tea for a laid-back afternoon. The service here is average, but the prices are more on the medium to high range.
In essence, this restaurant is like a fancy boutique in a high-class event. When I visited, they only had a vegan cupcake available, which was okay but priced at 5USD. Personally, I don't think it was worth the price. They also offered some other vegan options, such as a lemon dessert and a Lamington. They may have had some small cookies as well. By the way, the restaurant is located on the second or first floor in Hong Kong.
That should not be disappointed in taste. it is expensive (in agreement with HK prices), but all I had from here is generally good! I have tried several cupcakes always wet and more-ish. daydreamer is my favorite, but there are some other vegan cupcakes available. they have several vegan tarts I like the blackout chocolate tart that is rich and stunning (although the tart case can be hard to cut with the plastic fork that they give) mont blanc kastaniencreme tart, and rise and shine lemon tart that is creamy and not too tangie. also the vegan Mille-Feuilles they are good, but pasty could be a bit more flaky, so probably not give them to non-Vegans. for the best vegan millefeuille you need to go to bien caramélisé. they have a few venues in hongkong, but this is a caffe with sitting opportunities, compared to the other locations (landmark has just a few small tables city supers are just taking along.) the sofa seats are not always so convenient to eat and I found that the service could be better at my last visit. updated by previous review on 2022-02-01
