Bidrage med feedbackIt’s hard to find because it’s in a commercial building with lots of other restaurants and businesses. Once you go in the door, take the elevator up to the second floor. It was busy but we got a table right away. Highly recommend if you’re looking for vegan/veggie Cantonese food! We tried three dishes and each was amazing. Service was great, our waiter spoke limited English but asked us if we’re vegan! I thought that was so kind. Going back for sure!
I had lunch here by myself and was excited by the reviews and looking forward to it but was a little disappointed. It was fairly hard to find, but once I did, it is a nice atmosphere and very clean. I was there at the peak lunch time and there were very few patrons. My waiter was nice, but we had some difficulty communicating because don't speak Chinese and he didn't speak English very well. I was looking for an advertised $50 lunch special, but couldn't get him to understand that so just ordered off the menu. I had tea, steamed rice and tofu in aged vinegar sauce. Everything was tasty and generous portion but a bit pricey at $138 HKD for what I got.
Either my understanding of Chinese food is worse than I thought or there was some sort of communication breakdown when I ordered my food here last night. I regret to say that one is every bit as likely as the other with me as the culprit. C'est la vie. I ordered a satay dish. What I was presented with was big bowl of vegetables and noodles in steaming hot water. 78 HKD which while hardy extortionate, there's certainly less expensive in HK to those on a tight budget. There's a menu available in English. Items are marked that contain egg and one dish is marked as containing milk. Perfectly nice service. No issues with the vibe for me (it was a little noisy in case that isn't your thing). Like pretty much all the vego eateries I've been to in this town I'd be happy to go back.
Environment: simple, family style, old-fashioned eating: traditional vegetarian food with no five seasons. her fast food style lunch is fast, non-hass and good value for money. the dinner costs more with the different prices, but there are more choices with an eclectic of Chinese, western and other Asian dresses. I visited them when the Kovid restrictions were not yet in force. service: lunch is self service. eating time service is ok. price: lower media area
