Bidrage med feedbackIn a .romantic package. we had a 7 gang menu as diner during our stay. We asked for accompagnant wines and the sommelier suggested fine and affordable wines with the different plates. The food was excellent and the service, supervised by Mathieu, was impeccable!
I had Sunday lunch and was surprised at what a good value it was considering the elegance of the restaurant and the quality of the food. The turbot was excellent, probably the best I had on my entire trip. Everything was so good I seriously...considered having a second meal while I was there.
Granted, the food was delicious. However, at a restaurant of this price level, the service has to be excellent. And that is just not the case. Especially the first waiter who "welcomed" us (or rather suggested we should go to the cheaper brasserie), was quite unfriendly and did not change his attitude throughout our visit. The second waiter was much more professional and nicer, but could not make up for the attitude of his colleague.
