Brasserie L'Ostrea - Honfleur

Run! The price had already made us hesitate because much more expensive than anywhere else. Finally we decided to sit down but it didn’t last. By ordering 3 courses for 3 people with a water carafe) the “ boss”, who comes to order, refused to serve us on the pretext that our order was too light and that he had “other thing to do” I specify that the restaurant was not even half full). We literally got thrown out without ceremony with a hardness as we first believed in a joke of bad taste.

Really sucked server incompetent

Restaurant on the port of Honfleur very well located, beautiful light in the evening compared to other restaurants in front, darker and where the tables are one on each other. Very welcoming, attentive and attentive staff. We can eat seafood, woks, salads and fish. I took salmon, delicious and very well presented -see photo. The only flat is the price of cocktails 13,90€ is abused anyway.

So the location for a late May evening meal is good as you get the sunset, and we sat out side. The service was attentive and the food was priced for the location. I had the equivalent of a fruit de mer which was fresh...enough but packed out with too many whelks for my own personal taste

Four of us had lunch on a wet and cold day. The terrace had the usual 'clear plastic ' awning good heaters. Service was friendly and professional. We ate a la acrte and enjoyed each dish. Wines are slightly expensive but good. Enjoyable.
