Katakrak Jatetxea - Hondarribia

Really great dinner of roasted vegetables and excellently cooked whole grilled turbot to share. Wonderful views and friendly service.

There were only two other people in this restaurant the night we ate here but that was certainly not an indication of the quality of the food or service. Our waiter spoke English and provided us with an English menu. He explained the specials well to us. We ordered the grilled calamari, grilled monkfish, grilled anchovies, grilled octopus, mixed salad and Basque cake with ice cream. All dishes were superb. Unlike other restaurants in this area, you can sit in comfort at a table of your own in a comfortable chair with a view of the inlet. Maybe I'm getting old, but this is a much more comfortable way to enjoy a meal than being perched on a stool on a shared table or bar. This place should be a lot busier. Do not be deterred from coming in for a meal. You will not be disappointed.

Simple elegant meals and the owner Jorde speaks English which was really helpful. Good ambience with water views.

Frente al Mar, la sopa de pescado flipante pero es que está todo muy muy bueno, hemos comido y cenado y seguro que repetimos antes de irnos. Recomendable 100% y las camareras todas encantadoras

Un lugar muy agradable, sobre todo por la amabilísima y eficiente atención de Iratxe. Gran profesionalidad y simpatía. Muy buena relación calidad precio. Buena calidad de productos y nivel de cocina para los que nos encanta comer bien y disfrutar con ello. Volveremos para ser atendidos por Iratxe.
