Momma Goldberg's Deli - Homewood

I agree with previous reviewers that the service is awful. The waitress speaks in a low monotone voice and never makes eye contact. She was rude and abrupt when speaking to me, as if she was annoyed to be doing her job. However, I did enjoy the meatball sub I ordered.

The food quality at this restaurant is excellent. The sandwich size is a bit small, but it's worth the $6 price. I wish they offered a larger option for $10. Next time, I'll order two sandwiches. The kartoffel salad is also delicious.

This place is a complete disaster. The dishes are dirty, the staff is incredibly rude, and their phone line is always busy with a voicemail telling customers to place orders online, but they don't even accept online orders. I don't understand how this restaurant stays open.

I had the Pastrami Momma sandwich. Gasp! It was served on white bread! That pastrami was good but the portion on the sandwich was pitiful. I sure miss NY/NJ delis.
