Los Valedores Taco Truck - Homewood

I absolutely adore this taco truck! It's one of the best in town! The service is consistently fantastic every time I visit, which is now on a weekly basis! Just a heads up, the parking can be a bit cramped in the small lot.

The food was fresh, and the service was satisfactory. I ordered three chicken tacos for $8 and some change, which is a great price. However, I was surprised to find that the chicken was pulled or shredded instead of grilled, as I had expected. Unfortunately, the meat itself lacked flavor. Perhaps I ordered incorrectly? I specifically asked for three chicken tacos, but maybe I should have specified grilled chicken. The tortillas and other ingredients were all fresh, though. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't what I was hoping for.

Their tacos are consistently incredible! I highly recommend the al pastor tacos! The food is quick, affordable, and delicious! It’s easily the best taco truck in Birmingham! I can't recommend them enough!

Note on parking: It can get quite crowded during the lunch rush, but there is additional parking available on the opposite side of the building from the truck.

Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Birmingham! We sampled a variety of dishes, and our favorites were the Torta and Gordita. Be sure to try the cabeza—it's absolutely fantastic!
