Hwy 55 - Homewood

The atmosphere is fun... it's somewhere my 10-year-old daughter would like to. The burger was juicy. There are many good, free burgers toppings to choose from. Based on a previous review, I go to the chili on my burger (as well as mustard, bully and all grilled veg options), and the chili is really great! You can ask it on the page and your fries can also dive into it. The server made me a special banana and peanut butter shake that was brilliant. Fries were just... was definitely frozen and not freshly cut. I had a group, which is why I tried to find out. I live in the area, so if I run out and run a burger, I could eat here again. I can say that the server was excellent. She was positive and made a great task to explain the menu. After writing this review, I actually came back and changed my review from 3.0 to 3.5. On my experience, I realized that I actually had a really good time. I had fun and the burger was pretty good.

Two words: Chili Cheeseburger. Today my first visit to Hwy 55 was and I really enjoyed her chili. It is free with your burger. So I ordered a cheeseburger with American cheese and cucumbers. Then the chili and a mustard got on the side. Great choice! The Chili Cheeseburger was excellent! I got it with Fritten and a drink for $7. So you get a good, fresh burger and good service (at least I have), for a decent price. I'll be back!

We were looking for a good burger place, and we certainly found one! First the staff was so nice and very attentive. They offered their opinions and helped us decide what we wanted. They offered to let us try their pimento cheese to see if we might like their pimento cheese burger (which we will definitely get next time! . They cooked everything to order and brought us our food promptly. Second the food! Best we've had in a long time. The fries and fried pickles were great sides. The cheese steak hit the spot. And that banana split oh man! Their custard was awesome. Great atmosphere, great food, great service.

Great food, Great Prices, Great service! I had the Andy 's Combo, which was plenty of food for the price. My wife had the Andy 's Bacon Cheeseburger, but she said the regular size would have probably filled her because, again, it was plenty of food. We both loved all the options you get for toppings on your burger. Their custard (we had the concrete was fantastic as well. I highly recommend it! Note: We got there at 11:30 and found the place mostly empty, but when we left, around 12:25, they were running short on tables, so watch out for the lunch crowd.

I just read the review about the couple coming in at closing time. We went at lunch and they weren't busy and it took so long to get my food i was in the process of getting a refund when she said it was almost ready. I told to make it to go as my lunch hour was about up. The burger was bad and by then the chili fries were cold and gross. All three of us were so upset we won't be back. Update: The new Mgr takes reviews very serious. Adrian reached out to us as you see below. We appreciate him doing that so we went back today. We are revisiting Hwy 55 for dinner and I'm glad we did. The new Mgr Adrian has turned this place around with some help of a great staff. He is friendly and helpful. The waitresses are wonderful fast and friendly. I'd take a photo of the food but all that is left is a memory. The philly cheese-steak is wonderful. So go there and enjoy. They get 5 stars now. Please go back or if you haven't been then go asap.
