Food is always good. I love her sushi. Food is consistently good and fresh. Actually, I didn't go 5 stars because the prices are really expensive for what it is. I said we had to get a few dollars down.
I’m not sure if the business hours are wrong on google or they just don’t wanna open but I came here two times in the middle of the day and they were closed. The sushi is pretty good here, everything seemed fresh and well prepared. The Hibachi and Entrées were cold and kind of bland so I would only come here for the Sushi
We visited this location on Wednesday 6/8 and the waitress was excellent. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. After that we noticed flies on the tables and by the sushi station. After we were served our food we see one of the sushi prepares holding a baby kitten and we can hear it crying. The kitten was behind the sushi counter where they prepare the food. I was shocked. Then the table porter grabs the kitten and is holding it next to the person that 's preparing sushi. I told our waitress wow that poor kitten and she then tells me I know they have CATS back there .... (plural) so now it 's not just 1 baby kitten it 's multiple behind the counter where they serve food. We were discussed. Definitely not coming back.
Driver arrived and was told ready in 5minutes after it already had taken 45minutes for a driver to arrive. the app stated 70-80minutes to reciver order from the restaurant. then the driver ended up wait an additional 35 minutes for the food. upon receiving the order the meat was dry. the ice cream completely melted and i received a ginger salad for a side instead of the miso soup I ordered without being called to ask if this was okay. however the driver was amazing. he continuously stayed in contact and ensured me he was waiting patiently not cancelling the order and kept apologizing for the delays and upon receiving it from the restaurant told me he has it and is on the way and was very polite handing it off and apologized again because he strives to give fast polite well communcated service which i admire working in the restaurant buisness myself. i work at the hard rock cafe in bayfront park and i can say that this was very unprofessional and a clear display of poor time management and lack of communication and lack of care from Sushi Sake and should be corrected immediately or they will begin to see a decrease in sales and an increase in customer complaints. However I have gone here before in person and had a great experience but ordering through Uber eats for my niece's dinner and I was absolutely awful.
