Subway - Homer

The sandwiches for my mom, my husband, and I were poorly made—none were wrapped properly or cut all the way through, and everything felt chaotic. The second visit was even less enjoyable. I tried to stay positive and smiled, hoping to make the best of it, especially since I was really hungry. Unfortunately, the soda machine was malfunctioning, with no carbonation and a watery taste. The overall experience was frustrating, and I felt uncomfortable bringing up any issues for fear of how the employees might respond. The selection of chips was also limited, with only 3-4 choices available. The staff seemed bossy and unapproachable, making my husband and me feel like we were a nuisance for ordering food. When we finally got home to eat our sandwiches, we discovered that the bread was burnt. Despite our hunger, we ate the sandwiches and tried to wash them down with our lackluster drinks. The only thing we enjoyed were the chips, which were not even made by Subway! I’d give this place a one out of five stars and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I certainly won’t be returning. If you’re looking for a better option, I suggest heading to McDonald's instead—it's cheaper and much better!

It's Subway—you're likely familiar with what you're in for. Just a heads up: the staff lacks finesse when it comes to condiments. If you request mustard, prepare yourself for a flood; they serve it in overwhelming quantities by default. I strongly suggest using the packets of mustard, mayo, oil, and vinegar located by the soda machines instead. I know this may seem trivial, but picture this: you've crafted the perfect BMT with just the right amount of veggies, the bread perfectly toasted, and your mouth watering in anticipation. Suddenly, your light mayo and mustard transform into a sickly-colored mess, turning your once-delicious sandwich into a soggy disappointment.

The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the staff worked quickly and efficiently.
