Boatyard Cafe - Homer

The spicy chipotle tartar sauce was a solid 10/10. The thin-cut filet of halibut was just right for the perfect bite – truly a mark of excellence! It was perfectly breaded and crispy, earning another 10/10.

The halibut fish and chips were fantastic! Be sure to try the blueberry cream soda; it was incredibly delicious! The man behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. Although it's a small restaurant, sitting outside provides a lovely view. Definitely visit if you get the opportunity!

Four of us tried different dishes, and all of them were fantastic. The halibut fish and chips were among the best I've ever tasted—perfectly flaky and not overly breaded. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe, located right in a boat yard, but I would highly recommend it any day!

The restaurant doesn’t offer table service; you need to place your order and pick up your food at the counter. It can get quite crowded, but the staff seems to be putting in a lot of effort to manage the flow. Indoor seating is quite limited, though there is a lovely deck with extra seating available. I had a burger with fries, which was excellent, and I’m eager to try other items on the menu next time.

Delicious food! I tried the Halibut Sandwich and it was fantastic. The outdoor seating area was perfect for enjoying the sunny day.
