Bidrage med feedbackWe arrived at 10 o'clock for a quick coffee and cake on our way home, but were disappointed to find only one person managing the busy restaurant, making service slow and inefficient. Despite ordering a simple coffee and cake, our milk was already foamed for our coffee and then given to another couple. The breakfast of the other couple was even made before our coffee was served. What we thought would be a quick stop turned into a frustrating 50-minute wait, significantly delaying our travel plans. The decor was interesting and could appeal to those looking for crafts and coffee, but the limited cake selection was a downside. The service was friendly but overwhelmed, leaving us feeling ignored. Overall, not the best experience, but the restaurant's convenient location makes it a suitable spot for travelers in need of a quick break.
We decided to stop at a restaurant on our way to Townsville. Upon entering, we noticed there was a gaming group in the cafe. We found a table and waited for someone to take our order, but no one came. Eventually, my wife had to approach the counter where we found a lady who seemed preoccupied with sticky notes and never acknowledged our presence. After a few minutes of being ignored, we decided to leave. The staff seemed disinterested and rude, so we would not recommend this place to others.
Wonderful service and delicious coffee. This restaurant is a lovely spot to take a break and browse through their unique collection of gifts and jewelry for a special holiday souvenir.
This recently opened caffe is located in the main street of home hill next to the comfort stop. only a few months ago I open to the growth of this precious stone. with a friend and my mother we were first. with a sortiment of homemade gifts from cover, teddybears, cards, puppies etc. I was impressed that the dings I saw were made by people in the local environment and all reasonable prices. ends up sitting and with a middle coffee and the choice of a cookie from the cabinet. we said there was a limited selection of objects, as the baker was sick. there was an interesting stuffed pumpkin in the cabinet that looked amazing, but we had come for coffee the morning. the coffee was brought in muse-like sauces and sauces that just added to the vintage look of the caffe. even the spoons were quite different what I thought was different and cool. After the coffee I went around the load and bought a cute handmade baby cloth and soap for a friend. even had a conversation with the owner billie she is beautiful and very friendly. this facility is a great new addition to safely visit the city, enjoy a coffee and have a browse through the wonderful selection of gifts.
Dropped in here at 10am for a quick coffee and cake we thought on our way home, and found only one person managing the store on her own, which was just not practical during Easter break with many travellers passing through. Only wanting coffee and cake, but although when we ordered we were told the milk was already frothing for our coffee, that coffee was promptly given to another couple and then the other couple's breakfast was made completely before our coffee was even started. We thought that our coffee would be a quick concern and would be done on the side of the other customer's breakfast. So instead of our 15 min stop, it was a 50 min stop which was very frustrating with quite a distance still to travel. The craft looked interesting and if you are looking for craft and coffee, possibly a good place to stop, Service was friendly, just felt misled as to just how long our simple coffee and cake order would be. Coffee was ok although choice of cake was not huge. Beside the comfort stop, so well positioned for the traveller.
