Our table waited for over an hour and a half, some of the meals were served cold and had to be reheated, while two others were incorrect. Finally, when the correct meal was served, one dish was undercooked and the steak was raw. The meal was completely inedible. The waiter was unhelpful and only mentioned that he informed the chef. When I requested to speak with the chef, the waiter informed me that he had left. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing dining experience.

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. and placed our order by 6:45 p.m. However, our meals did not arrive at our table until 9:30 p.m. We ended up getting stuck there, drinking $10 bottles of beer. The music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting next to us. On the plus side, the meal was very good.

Recently, the restaurant has undergone some changes and now offers a special deal every night of the week. On Mondays, children can eat for free, on Tuesdays there is a pizza and pasta special, on Wednesdays you can get a $5 dessert, on Thursdays there is a 3-course meal deal, and on Fridays it's Chicken Parmigiana night with 14 different options to choose from. On Saturday nights, the restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly. The tables are spaced out for COVID safety. It did take a while to get our food (45 minutes), but we didn't mind as we had good company. The food was pretty good, depending on what you order. The staff even allowed us to substitute fries for salad, which was a nice touch. We were happy with our experience and would recommend this place to anyone in the Burdekin area.

So handy to have room service from the restaurant. Both dinners and breakfasts were delivered fresh and hot.

We were lucky enough to be staying at this this little country motel to try their Thursday night Roast Special $15 for soup of the day, roast meats (pork beef), a selection of roast vegetables greens plus desert (we had no room...for sweets) !Fantastic value deliscious!
