The Ugly Grouper - Holmes Beach

The food and service were excellent. I will definitely be returning.

This restaurant has a lovely outdoor setting with a great band and excellent food. Although the portion of grouper was smaller than expected for the price, it was delicious and the rice was very tasty. The service was good and the Grouper Reubens were fantastic. I wish I had tried the tacos as they looked amazing. Overall, we enjoyed our time and meal here, but it's not a must-visit spot. I would definitely eat here again, but would like to explore other local venues first. The atmosphere is fun and lively, and kids will be entertained with ring toss games, a giant steel grouper, and wax string to play with.

I had a great time dining outside at this restaurant and bar! The food and beer selection were both excellent. Don't forget to visit and take a picture with the large grouper!

All in all... this place is fun and friendly with good food.. although your BAR area needs to be cleaner!!! Seriously bad stank coming from BAR AREA!!! Otherwise check it out

I usually go off of reviews so I had high hopes for this place. My mom and I were disappointed to say the least. The food just did not meet our expectations. The shrimp bruschetta was sad. They used what seemed to be pre frozen popcorn shrimp. The fried green tomatoes with crab was also a bust. The slices were cut about 1.5 inch thick so all the batter slid off right out the gate and they had a sprinkle of crab meat. Maybe we went on an off day or maybe just good for drinks and simple fried food. Would not recommend.
