Taft Street Cafe - Hollywood

I can't believe it has been 3 years since I reviewed this place. Have been back many times and nothing changes. Always good food at a good price and great service. Still open for breakfast and lunch only. I always go late and hungry for the ham and cheese omelet, hash browns and a side of their great sausage gravy. The omelets are huge, really enough for 2 regular appetites. Never been for lunch, but this morning I saw what looked like an egg salad sandwich that must have been 2 inches thick. Still driving a long way there but always worth it.

I drive 10 miles for their omelettes. The most expensive item on their menue is steak and eggs for $9.25. Open every day 7am to 3pm. Could be tricky to find since they are in the back of a multi story bldg. but worth the find. Food and service is always very good.
