China Inn South Express - Holland Twp

The portion sizes at this restaurant are smaller, but that's not necessarily a bad thing since you might not want to eat everything anyway. However, my recent orders have been a bit disappointing – for example, a $13 combo plate should have more than just 6 pieces of chicken. The fried rice isn't made to order and the food, while usually served hot and quickly, can taste stale. The strip mall where the restaurant is located is also not the nicest, with several vape stores and lots of potholes. Despite these drawbacks, I hope things improve as this place holds a special place in my heart and is conveniently located. China Inn South has been a longstanding part of the Chinese dining scene in Holland, with fond memories of dining at the old location on 32nd. I truly hope that improvements are made because we genuinely enjoy this restaurant.

The restaurant was average. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and 4 chicken wings, which cost me $20. I was surprised when they only gave me 2 soy sauce packets for such a big order.
