CHEFIES eatery - Holland Landing

As usual when arriving at Chefies I was welcomed by owners Michael & Meagan. I ordered an omelette & when Meagan brought it to my table she said a treat had been added to my breakfast,two slices of banana bread which was delicious. The omelette was huge & perfectly cooked & was accompanied with home fries,toasted multi grain bread,fruit cup & coffee. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast or lunch I highly recommend Chefies.

It is a lovely little restaurant hidden at the very end of the plaza. It is bright and cheerful with a pleasant atmosphere and equally warm staff. The menu is varied but tasty. There soups are soo good. You are welcomed to get up and serve your own fresh brewed coffee or tea. In a a delightful visit. I will be back. Friends, family, alone or with business people it will suit your needs.

We went Sunday morning for breakfast; a very tiny restaurant, maybe seats 20. We waited but two other couples left. Our wait time of ten minutes was accurate, however, we waited 65 minutes for our food. I'm not exaggerating, I timed it. I will blame the wait on the arrival of a party of eight, that ordered steaks, right before us, but an apology or even acknowledgement of the delay might have been nice. By the time the food arrived we were really hungry and I was very disappointed; the way they plate the food it looked so skimpy and a mostly white plate. However, the food was good! We had eggs, sausages, toast, French toast and pancakes. The sausages were so tasty, like a smaller version of a street vendor sausage. So good! We left satisfied, but not overly, our table having bickered over who got the last crumbs.One thing that I disliked was the requirement for guests to serve their own hot drinks, cafeteria style, from the back of the dining area. I can do that at home, thank you. There are some days you just want to be waited on and, heck, when you are sitting there for over an hour, having to excuse yourself to get past other guests to get coffee for the third time, would it kill the staff to offer to fetch a fresh one for you? With a few minor adjustments this could be an A+ eatery. You've got the food right, now work on your service.For the price and long wait I would say not worth it for us to return. But those sausages....

My sister and I ate here for my birthday! The food is delicious - definitely a step above the typical breakfast place! Well worth a trip to Holland Landing!!

Outstanding restaurant with incredible breakfasts for very reasonable prices. The eggs benedict are amazing. They àlso cater.
