The Happy Sumo - Holladay

Went there to pick up a doordash… I walk in I asked the host how long until they think it's going to be ready she goes back and asks the cook they say about 10 to 15 minutes after 20 minutes I go back to the host she goes back to the cook and they cook and they say another 10 to 15 minutes so and it's so overall for one item of sushi I waited over 45 minutes 1 of their employees had called in sick and I guess that One person calling and sick sure did put them really behind for dinner on a Sunday … – show

Ordered off of grubhub which may not have been smart considering its sushi but I am very picky about my sushi and I looked up reviews for this place before I considered ordering and it had good reviews for the most part so I went a head and ordered because my favorite sushi place doesn't offer delivery so figured I would try a new place. Great food, generous portions, beautiful setting, suoer friendly and attentive staff. I recommend trying the miso soup, sunomono roll and crab wonton. We'll definitely go back!!!

Another place sadly plauged with screaming children and peaple playing youtube videos to loudly. Ruins the otherwise wonderful restaurant. We will still be supporting this place

We were first in the door for lunch today. Fast and friendly. Sushi for my colleague and her enjoyed it. I had the Teriyaki Chicken with vegetable tempura. I’m from out of town and I’m very happy with the quality and taste, portion was too much for me — the chicken was juicy and tender. Needed a little more rice. Could have asked for more I’m sure. The Edamame app was good too.
