Decent sandwich place. Usually happy with the food here. Our most recent visit was a disappointment. My wife wanted an Italian sub after our son was born and their Italian sub was a let down. They do not have a wide variety of deli meats for a sandwich shop. If you want a great italian sub, we recommend the Italian trio sub at Big Y instead if you want a real Italian curred meats. This used to be our go-to spot when we visited from out of state. Today, I stopped by to enjoy a little college football, have some lunch, and grab a drink. Unfortunately, the roast beef sandwich was quite tough, and they refused to turn on the sound for the game. Additionally, the Shipyard beer was nearly twice as expensive as it is at other places in town. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 2.

The food was excellent! I only gave it 4 stars because the person who took my order was somewhat rude. Additionally, it’s winter in Massachusetts, and every time the door opened, it got really cold inside. This place used to be outstanding, but it seems to have lost its touch. My husband and son both had Cubans, and they were only half the size of what they received last year. My roast beef sandwich was also brown and dry. Considering the prices, I expect higher quality. I don’t mind paying a bit more for a good sandwich, but unfortunately, that's not the case anymore.

Roast beef is what they are known for. The sandwiches were great. I had a Jefferson and my husband had the super Roast Beef. All ingredients you can tell are fresh. The best for me was the sweet potato fries! Once again the freshness was impeccable. It was like they had hand cut the sweet potatoes this morning for the fries. Staff was super friendly and fast. The food is average—not exceptional, just okay. However, the Patriot Punch is quite delicious, and the staff members are friendly. I did notice that the outdoor dining area has some wobbly tables. I've visited this restaurant twice; my first experience was great, but the second one was disappointing. Overall ratings: Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5.
