Bidrage med feedbackUPDATE: I went to the address listed which turned out to be a residential home, I went on a Friday between 6pm 7pm, which is within the operating hours listed and no one was home. It looked liked no one lived there, no cars in the driveway, ring doorbell didn't appear to be working, and house was completely d.ark. Im chalking this up as not in business anymore, this is disappointing as i was really looking forward to enjoy some salteñas, I've had them in Bolivia several times and really like them. There is a place in Miami that has really good ones located in a Farmers Market.Left message on WhatsApp asking if they were still in business. They received the message but never replied. So not sure if they are still in business or not, no reply possibly indicates they are not and phone number may have been recycled to someone else. I will try to verify it in person by going to the location, if they are still in business and the food is good I will post a separate review about the food.
If they'd ever decide to answer their phone, I'd love to come.
Absolutely delicious!!!! Reasonable prices! You will not be disappointed!
My wife and I where lucky enough to be invited to Lidia's kitchen. We were taught the traditions and how to handle a Bolivian Saltena. What a memorable experience! I am anxious to eat another Saltena and try to keep that delicious juice inside the shell!
Absolute authentic saltenas! Very delicious! We LOVE both their beef and chicken saltenas. My kids eat them too- mostly chicken because the beef is a little too spicy for them, but they enjoy it either way. My husband who is Cuban says its the BEST empanada he's ever eaten. Their service is also superb with their ordering, packaging and given instructions to bake from home.
