Bidrage med feedbackAt the restaurant Apelts Alte Mühle in Hohenseefeld you can eat lunch at least from July to September. The inn has also opened from Wednesday to Friday, outside the Saision only on weekends. In any case, it was on the restaurant website. Open restaurants around the Flemigskate, at least far from the cities of Dahme, Jüterbog and Luckenwalde are not so plentiful. Therefore, it was recommended to take into account the route selection where you could get a lunch. We planned this break at noon in Hohenseefeld, as the Internet had told us that a restaurant was opened in September at noon. Since we used the bike or inline skates were on the go, the temperatures in the summer garden allowed us. This is located on the opposite side of the restaurant. The feed maps are clearly visible in the entrance area. We took the tickets and looked at the offer. The map was optimal, offers seasonal dishes, regional dishes and kitchen classics. The history of the inn was explained on the map and pointed out that the inn is part of a farm that has already received various prices for its products. On the map there was also a flyer with the kind of hint that, unless you would notice from the staff, to report to the opposite restaurant. I needed it after a while. Due to the fact that we had served on the menus themselves, I could also place the order in the restaurant. I did not think I had to go to the restaurant myself and should not be rated negatively. So the drinks and the dishes came. I chose a Soljanka as an appetizer and a homemade sluice with roasted potatoes and Remoulade sauce as the main course. My wife liked to roast potatoes with roasted eggs. This was not on the map, but the wish was fulfilled. So at this point a plus point. The food itself came in a time that suggests that the dishes are freshly prepared, so in our case the roast potatoes. I felt disappointing the portion size of roast potatoes. After the feeling, each of us had cut a larger potato into slices beforehand. For someone who has 40 km of bike or skates behind him and 40 km ahead, a little. I was lucky to have ordered a Soljanke in advance. At least I could say I was fed. But my wife had got them (less) roasted potatoes with the desired fried egg, but it wasn't even a small salad on the plate. So I gave her my salad set. Otherwise, the food was good, with the exception of the already cumbersome portion size. The service was friendly and so we felt the atmosphere good and cozy. The summer garden was nicely decorated and invited to stay. I have to recommend the crackers from the farm. It is worth buying. Absolutely delicious, cold and hot a pleasure. If the portion sizes were appropriate and my wife's plate had a salad set, everything would have been optimal. Since we were otherwise very satisfied, the inn deserves a second chance. I can recommend it.
