Salty's Grill & Cafe - Hobsons Bay

The fish and chips at this restaurant are incredibly delicious. We are grateful for the tasty meal and convenient delivery service. The food is of excellent quality and very fresh. We are very happy with our dining experience.

We went to this restaurant for dinner tonight and were greeted by a friendly Aussie family. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, which was longer than expected, but the restaurant was quite busy. We ordered the Seafood for 3 which included prawn cutlets, calamari, seafood sticks, cod, and chips, all for a good value at $29.90. The chips were satisfactory, though there weren't many, but the abundance of delicious seafood made up for it. The aioli that came with the meal was a nice touch. Overall, we were pleased with our dinner and with a few small improvements, we would definitely consider coming back again.

Do not waste your money at this restaurant. The chips were soggy and half-boiled, lacking any flavor or value. We ordered a family pack with a variety of seafood items, but everything was cooked together and served in a messy, clumped-up pile. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and will not be returning.

Good menu choice. Good selection of hamburgers and gluten-free options. Large pieces of some fish. Only service was a little slow and fish cooked a bit too much.

Travelling to Mt Glorious and discovering Salty's. Felts like fish and chips and pulled in. Political, professional service and mutt allows to sit outside. Fish, Calamari, chips and crumb yarns prepared and cooked as we waited with a really good coffee. Food was... excellent and cheap. Don't go past this place!
