Beach House - Hobsons Bay

I was not at all impressed by this restaurant during my visit, and I still feel unenthusiastic about it now. While there was nothing particularly wrong with my experience, there was also nothing that stood out and made it memorable. I don't foresee myself returning in the future.

I'll be quick here. Visited Saturday 13th August approximately 1pm.Waitress was kind and almost looked apologetic as we ordered the chargrilled chicken burgers w/chips.Food came out in pretty good time, but it was oil-soaked and sloppy. Side of chips on my plate contained 18 chips that looked a bit like your McCains variety. You know when you count the chips that there's not many on the plate.Anyway, very polite young waitress elevates this place to two stars, otherwise it'd scrape into one star territory.

This place has the best chicken parmigiana ever! The service is fantastic- really lovely family run place. And prices are good. Really would recommend it!

Just happened to be walking past and thought we would try it out. The customer service was efficient and friendly.A varied menu offered up a great selection for the most discerning of appetites. The big breakfast lives up to its name, and an empty plate from my dining companion confirmed the quality. I ordered the avocado & salmon stack. While it filled the gap I probably wouldnt order it again. It looked fantastic, but was let down by the lack of taste, even after a good season of salt & pepper. The energy here is uplifting and pleasant, with a family friendly atmosphere. The back area looked like a daycare and was filled with young children & parents enjoying a saturday morning. The coffee was amazing and a great way to end a pleasant visit.

We decided to have coffee and early dinner after my niece's dance concertHere are the things that I have to say about the restaurant:Venue: we were able to get a table near to the kitchen ideal for an 8 people early dinner; not that big but comfortable to moveFood: nachos, chicken burger with chips, omelette, carbonara pasta, big breakfast ( just make sure that you are there before 4:30pm because breakfast is until before 5pm. All the menu comes in big portions so if you are of a small quantity you can share and get an entree perhaps. Drinks is also alright, they have a slim version of Coke zero which is $2 and less price than the normal cola in a glass. Booking type: its a walk in resto so no need but could get busy especially in the morningStaff treatment to customer: pleasant and always comes back to us to check how we are doing or if we need anythingPrices: could reached $23 but since the portion is big could still be shared and then just get an entree or dessert if needed beFinal note: its a good deal when it comes to the price, area is just right for a semi big group. Quick service is a plus, big portion and feeling important to the staff is remarkable.
