Cafe Michelina - Hoboken

Feels very run-of-the-mill Italian joint. Very overpriced. Some of the food here was decent (their linguine pesto w/ cutlet burrata was pretty good, same with chicken Murphy), however some of the food was downright bad (stuffed gnocchi w/ cutlet vodka sauce). The service was friendly but slow. Listed prices on the menu aren't too bad, and portion sizes are decent, but beware anything that doesn't have a price tag next to it. The quality of the food is not good enough to charge the price of some specials desserts.

The food here is simply excellent. Its really hard to go wrong with anything on the menu, though I would personally focus on the pastas. It is my go-to restaurant for a dinner night in Hoboken.On a side note, the place is actually quite small and it causes 2 issues. Firstly, the service is not very good. The staff seem overly busy and just aren't able a certain level of service. Secondly, the place is way too noisy. Forget about having a romantic night out or a serious conversation. You guys are not going to hear each other very well.Regardless, go there for the food and take note of what to expect in terms of the atmosphere and service.

My mom was craving for Italian food. We bump in to this cute place the sauce is so good. Simple, elegant and that sauce is amazing?

Food Was Amazing , Thats the only reason im giving it 3 stars becuae the serive was horrible . The server seemed bothered and also forgot our appetizers.

I saw the pasta flights on Instagram and just had to try them! The pesto was in the top 3 best I have had, the vodka penne was creamy and the cacio e pepe was buttery and full of pepper! Our server was so helpful, funny and amazingly nice. Definitely would say our party had an amazing night.
