Bluestone Lane Hoboken Café

I ordered the BL Burrito with a side of bacon, while my partner chose the Athlete's Burrito. Both dishes were bland and lacked many ingredients. My partner's burrito was missing avocado and feta, making it so unappealing that she found it inedible. I completely understand her reaction. My own burrito was equally disappointing in flavor. It's disheartening to say that I’ve had better breakfast burritos from Taco Bell. My burrito was devoid of feta and any semblance of enjoyment. The bacon was undercooked and tasteless, lacking the joy that bacon typically brings. Instead of delight, it left me feeling let down. Essentially, I felt like I was eating eggs wrapped in a flour tortilla with barely any avocado to be found. We were informed that only two cooks were working in the kitchen, but that does not excuse the lack of flavor, the small portions, or the missing ingredients. Given the price of these burritos, it’s simply not worth the trip to Bluestone Lane. I did voice my concerns to the manager, who kindly offered us our meals for free. However, the frustration and disappointment we experienced cannot be compensated by a complimentary meal due to the restaurant's shortcomings. On a positive note, the server was courteous and helpful, and we appreciated his efforts to navigate this unfortunate lunch experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you're seeking flavorful food; you won’t find it at Bluestone Lane—just disappointment.

I love starting my mornings with bluestone! The food is always delicious and the service never disappoints. Cesar is the best, he always goes above and beyond to ensure that I’m happy and satisfied. (Thank you! 10/10 recommend ?Food: 5/5

Food (4/5): Overpriced especially for the relatively small portions but it was quite good. I got the BL burrito and it was a good and well made fresh burrito. The salad was also fresh and delicious.Ambiance (4/5): Chill coffee shop environment with spacious seating. The place was well lit and overall solid.Service (5/5): Very friendly and patient server. The server patiently waited while we figured out the very glitchy Bluestone Lane app. The app has a free drink promo but it kept saying the location we were at was closed even though it was clearly not. However, the server helped us find a compromise and was very nice and patient the whole time.

Bluestone lane never misses. Such great coffee food. And the staff is so attentive and nice! Forrest helped us and was great. Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and coffee.

In a sea of coffee shops, especially in busy downtown Hoboken, this one stands out! The ambiance was relaxing and I was able to get some studying done while sipping on my several macchiatos. The staff was friendly and make sure I was taken care of as well. I also had the chicken ancient grains bowl which was soothing. The coffee tastes lovely and I even bought a bag of Maverick coffee to have at home. A special thanks to an extra awesome NICK for making sure I had all that I needed to study well! I’ll definitely be coming back often ?
