Vietnamese Kitchen - Hobart

We've been enjoying food here since 1999. Never had a mediocre meal yet and the value for money especially for a big family is superb. Plus you can sit out on the pavement and people watch as you fill your bellies.

Our first night in Tasmania, staying at Lenna's, with so many restaurant's close by, we decided on trying this place. Meals were inexpensive and after a day of travelling, we were after something fresh, quick and no hassle. Great value for money , we had duck, chilli beef and rice rolls. Exactly what we felt like quick, easy and good value.

I chose take away as we were tired. Ordered duck, two different noodles, lamb dish, dim sims and chicken satay. Didn't wait long which was a plus the food was not the best not so cheap not cheerful. Would not go back .

My wife and I were looking for a small meal and wandered into this Vietnamese eatery. On the wall you could see a vast array of dishes that were being offered. However, what I could get as far as I understood was what was already made. I did not like this but had a ready made meal anyway. It was OK but not really what I would have expected. Sorry about that!

Great for a quick bite to eat or a no hassle value for money meal! Situated in the tourist area of Salamanca, Vietnames kitchen serves up tasty cheap (relatively) tucker. :) from a local.
