The Glass House - Hobart

My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner during our relaxing week in Hobart. It was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed. The service was exceptional, with our table being looked after by a woman named Dola. She paid attention to every detail and ensured our evening was memorable with her polite and discreet service. The food and drinks were also outstanding. We opted for the "feed me" option and were thrilled with the variety of dishes and flavors. The cocktails were crafted to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant for any couple visiting Hobart. The ambiance of our table was the perfect finishing touch to our wonderful evening.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant with a group reservation for 14 people. Our dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegetarian) were well taken care of. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed a fantastic semi-private space. We all had a wonderful evening and highly recommend the team and the food!

The restaurant has an excellent location with a stunning view of the harbor from the main dining area. The service is top-notch and the cuisine is very creative. The Stracciatella Heirloom tomatoes with parmesan pangritata were perfectly ripe and sweet, and the highlights of the meal for me. The eye fillet was incredibly tender and served with a roasted cauliflower that was half a flower, beautifully browned and hearty. The dessert, a lime creation, was just as creative as the rest of the meal, not overly sweet and perfectly refreshing. They also have a happy hour with $12 cocktails and beer specials, making it a great spot for early evening drinks.

The most divine culinary experience here, we sat right at the front, which looked over the water. Our waitress really did the night for us, but she was a young woman whose name I wish I was caught when we couldn't break her service. the desserts were simply incredible and so delicious, I really recommend trying them. many thanks again to the beautiful waitress for the evening.

The service is superb! We just dropped by for a hot choco and coffee yet we were served like VIPs! Staff are always smiling and alert. Next time, we will make sure to come back hungry so we can order more food!
