The Black Footed Pig - Hobart

We decided to treat ourselves to an extra dessert and share it rather than splitting one between two of us, and we were very happy with that choice. The menu may not be extensive, but everything is expertly prepared and delicious. The coffee artist also adds a touch of fun with creative latte art—Noel crafted a cute koala face in his macchiato! We can't wait to return for our next visit.

We had a wonderful evening on October 14th at The Black Footed Pig during our weekend getaway in Hobart. We hadn’t made any reservations and didn’t have a specific plan, but on that busy Saturday night, your accommodating staff managed to find a spot for the two of us to enjoy our meal. We chose the Tapas menu to sample and share a variety of dishes, which included crispy fried sardines, scallops, pork and beef albondigas, roasted carrots and parsnips, and the Moorish spiced crispy lamb ribs, all complemented by a delicious Spanish Rioja tempranillo. Each dish was meticulously prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The meal truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were professional, efficient, and warm, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. If there was only one downside, it would be that we might have ordered too many tapas and didn't leave room for dessert! Thank you for a memorable evening in Hobart for all the right reasons. We'll definitely be recommending your restaurant to our friends and suggesting they visit when they're in town.

Four of us had dinner here last night in this busy buzzy place. We all shared the dishes and all loved it. Outstanding .. one of the best dining experiences in a long time. The ravioli was our favourite. Looking forward to going back!

My husband I just spent a week in Hobart eating out every night and this restaurant is head and shoulders above the rest. Amazing chef and wonderful staff. Our only disappointment was that we did t find them until the last night or we would have eaten there every night. Do youself a favour and book a table at this restaurant. Colin and Kirsty Ranki
