Barilla Bay Oyster Farm - Hobart

Was here for a high-time event, so I think this evaluation will be more about it being a functional center. we have found many parking places. at this opportunity it was a beautiful sunny day that helped much as it was an outdoor ceremony. When that was over, we were led to the functional centre to have drinks and eat before the main reception began. I was really impressed by the amount of food and variety. chicken spits, garlic, vegetarian snacks, oysters and the most delicious bark puff pastries with a delicious gravy to immerse them. on the recipe was eating also delicious (was alternative drops,) that was eaten between a steak or a salmon evening meal. in the facility was well thought out. the bar was close to most sharing the room, elevator access for those who need it and more than enough toilet articles. the staff was very friendly, helpful and gave great service. to meet a large choice when looking for a high-time reception.

Great oysters but service could have been a bit faster. My partner was very satisfied with the all you can eat oysters and their freshness though

Amazing fresh and creamy oysters. The angel pasta is also really good. Average fish n chips though. But overall really good for the oysters!

The $69 oyster platter for 30pcs, with both fresh and cooked mixed was delicious and good value. My favourite was the cooked oysters with mustard. The raw oysters were a bit lukewarm and just so-so. The Kilpatrick was too heavy on the BBQ sauce and bacon, just so-so overall.

Went to this place especially to try their oysters and what a let down. We ordered their oyster platter, half fresh and half cooked. The fresh ones were actually good but all of the cooked ones were overcooked or I actually think it was cooked twice (probably from a stuffed up order earlier). Total disappointment.
