Bidrage med feedbackJust started going back to Al Fresco's after a gap of about 5 years, when the service, food and prices went downhill very suddenly. But we were told it was good again, so we tried it and were pleasantly surprised. Pretty much just like the old days.
Nice as always. The location is not ideal on a very busy street.
Everything was great, I am not giving 5 stars simply because the menu was very limited . . . Service here is always one of the best . . .
The restaurant is clean and the personel is kind and helpful despite some don't speak English. I ordered the spare ribs with a glass of red wine. The ribs arrived just lukewarm with some cold parts (frozen?!? and I had to ask to warm them up again, what they did. The glass of red wine arrived very cold. The bread is on request but free of charge. The apple crumble miss some apples but has a good taste. Personel kindness Cleanliness
Great service with a staff that does speak English well. The food is typical American: bland, overly sweet sauces on the ribs. Ribs themselves were as I said, American restaurant style, boiled, then roasted, leaving them bland. Potato wedges were crispy and tasty. Caesar salad good (1/2 portion), but with only one very small anchovy. Pizza Marinara with thin crust was ok, tasty, with nice selection and portion of seafood. Expensive. You're paying mid-west prices in Vietnam. I had a much better Japanese sushi dinner at an upscale place for only US $10 more. So know your options.
